Selected Object(s)

"Activates rotate/skew mode" configures Designer so that repeated left mouse-button clicks alternate between selecting an object and placing the object in the rotate/skew mode. (To select an object from a stack of overlapping objects, hold ALT and click.)

"Selects among overlapping objects" configures Designer so that repeated clicks select objects in a stack. (Choose the Rotate/Skew Tool to use rotate/skew mode.)

Unselected Object(s)

"Always block selects" is the default. To block select, you drag a bounding rectangle completely around objects to select them.

"Selects and moves one object" lets you click an unselected object then move it in one motion. (The default is to click then move the object, a two-step process.) It also lets you block select objects.

Configures Designer so that mouse and CTRL+SHIFT combinations are compatible with either Office 97 or Designer 4.x.

Right Button Click

Controls whether a right-click displays a shortcut menu or executes a command that you select from the command list.

IntelliMouse Wheel

Set the IntelliMouse wheel function to either zoom or scroll.

Make Zoom Tool Persistent

If selected, when you choose the Zoom In tool it remains on the screen so you can continue to zoom in or (if you hold SHIFT) zoom out.
